What the Heck?
I’m Mei, a stay-at-home-mom with a decade in software development. My co-author is my toddler, who can’t write his name yet but has shipped six games (and counting).
We’re exploring what happens when kids learn to build with artificial intelligence and natural language programming.
Systems Over Syntax
I’ve written more algorithms and for loops than I can count over the course of my career, and I’m convinced that my toddler will never need to. The tools have fundamentally changed. AI, already impressive today, will be a layer of invisible infrastructure tomorrow. The only barrier between imagination and creation will be the skills to think thoroughly and communicate clearly about what you want.
So in each post, I share:
Real strategies for screen time and screen-free ways to teach AI and programming literacy to a toddler
Games and projects we've built (toddler logic included)
Practical ways to help kids become creators, not just consumers
Everything’s a Prompt

My toddler insists I mention that he's especially interested if you've made any vehicle games.
P.S. Yes, you can play all the games he's made. Fair warning: they're optimized for toddler joy, not sophisticated gameplay. But that's exactly the point.
